This track delves deep into the story of a tenacious second great-grandmother who, heeding signs only she understood, made the life-altering decision to leave her cherished home before the catastrophic 1886 eruption. Her resilience and intuition not only ensured her survival but also laid the foundation for the generations that followed.

Crafted with reverence and gratitude, this piece is an audial tapestry interwoven with traditional Taonga Pūoro, capturing the spirit of the land, the whispers of our ancestors, and the heartbeat of a lineage that continues to thrive.
